Stormy Days

Excerpt: "Naked in Eden"

Before the Storm. Running along the beaches of
Far North Queensland, Australia - far from the busy world.

I loved most the days that raged with storm. Rain pummeled the Earth with such force I barely heard the sound of my voice. The wildness of those days drew me to the sea more than ever. I swam while rain pelted my head and wind roared about my ears. Sea and grit stung my eyes and skin. The wind beckoned and the sea followed. Frothy waves crashed on hard sand and heaved as passionately as naked lovers. I wanted to eat the life of the storm. ~ (Excerpt Naked in Eden )

We are the eyes of the Earth, the voice of the Earth.
I have risen up out of the soul of the Earth. ~ Joseph Campbell

The wild places are where we began. When they end, so do we.   ~ David Brower
